CommunicationCommunication has gotten easier and easier through phones, fax machines, pagers and the internet - causing a drastic change in the way we now communicate. Each new generation is losing more of our physical communication abilities, such as eye contact, facial expressions, and hand gestures. We know we have other methods of communicating, and therefore do not depend on face to face conversations as much.

The InternetThe internet has given us everything we could want at the tips of our fingers, from research to shopping. Though the internet provides so much, it has also taken away quite a bit. Time, for example, as many people spend a great deal of their time on social networking sites, web videos, blogs and more. These things have become a distraction from school, work and spending time with real people. It is wonderful to be able to have connections with those who are far away, but we must remember those who are near as well.
